When Duplin Co. was divided, Sampson county kept all land records and deeds. These were later transcribed by an Edward Vail who was the lowest bidder to do this transcription for the public authorities. I have article stating his house in Magnolia still stands today. I am interested in finding out if this is correct, as the article states that his house was in Magnolia where Mrs. Rebecca Groves lived. I am related to this Rebecca Groves and wondered if anyone knew if this house still stands, or if not, where was this house located originally. Thanks Wanda
