Hi Fred, Sr. I am seeking information on Samuel Boone, my gr. gr. grandfather of Sampson, Co.NC. Would like to know if anyone can help me. I need his death date, where buried, his parents and possibly his siblings. I know he married Margaret Vann, dau. of Enoch Vann & Rebecca Tatum of Taylor Bridge Twnship or Libson Township. In 1850 Samuel Boone & w. Margaret are in South Clinton Twnship with 6 children. His son William Ralph Boone is my gr. grandfather. I know where he is buried and his dates. But stuck on Samuel. Was Samuel related to Stephen, Driver and Chestnut Boone? I grew up in North Clinton Township between Clinton & Turkey, NC. I still have a home and farm there and will returning there in a couple of weeks for a Boone Family Reunion. The boundary of Turkey has not really changed since the 1835 Tax listing. Would you please add this information to the "Roll Call" or "Roll List"? Also looking for information on John W. Waters of the Turkey area. He is also my gr. gr. grandfather. He died around 1907.
