John R. WEST, Daniel WEST, James WEST, Jr., and Benjamin WATERS were close neighbors as recorded on the Turkey District of 1835. John R. was a son of Daniel; was James, Jr. a son also? Was Benjamin WATERS a son of John WATERS? James West, Jr. bought Sampson Co. land from Samuel BOON in 1830; James, Jr. is still on the tax list of 1835.
