Can anyone help me with these families, in 1788 Adam Rainier of Duplin Co NC Last Will and Testament was Exhibited and Proved, can't find his will. In 1787 Adam Runey was discharged for paying anymore Poll Tax, because he was over the age of 60, this would make him being born ca. 1727. Does anyone know anything about him or his family? Also, I'm looking for a Samuel DEBOSE Rainey, he was in the Civil War- Confederate- Infantry- 2 nd- Battalion- Georgia Infanty. I found him listed in the Wayne Co./ Dobbs Co. NC book, where someone has gone him on him, but there is no dates or names listed. I believe he was the son of Jon=hn and Dilly Rainer or the 1st Richard from Sampson Co., does any one have anything on him. I have no dates. Thanks, Donna in Smithfield
