I am desperately trying to locate any and all information on: Drusellah (Drewsiller, Drucilla, Drewzilla) STEPHENS originally from Sampson County, NC. Her birth is recorded in the STEPHENS/THAMES Family Bible record in the 1790s. Her given name is shown spelled in all the different ways I show above. Her married name is recorded as COOPER in her father's, John STEPHENS' will. Circumstantial evidence indicates she may have been the spouse of my g-g-g-grandfather Jonathan COOPER, son of Cap't. John COOPER and grandson of Fleet COOPER, Sr., all of Sampson County, NC. Apparently, she gave birth to my g-g-grandfather William Stephens COOPER in 1810, as his birth is recorded in the STEPHENS/THAMES Family Bible record. Her sister Zilpha also married a COOPER (Daniel) son of Fleet COOPER, Jr., but they had no sons named William S. I cannot find any record of her or Jonathan's marriage, and suspect that one of the several ministers in the immediate and extended family (Rev. Fleet COOPER, Jr., Rev. William COOPER, etc.) may have performed the ceremony without it being officially recorded anywhere. Thanks for anything. Regards, Gary W. COOPER
