Listmembers, I have a deed from James WEST to Wiliam GAINEY/GANEY written 1786 in which James deeds lands to William. The land is located then on West side of Great Coheary and Seven Mile Swamp. Can someone locate this in present day Sampson County as I am unable to locate on either TopoZone or MapQuest. Also, I have record of a land grant to Simon WEST 1765. The land lay then in Duplin County on Balls Mill Swamp, E side of Great Cohary. Can someone locate that for me in present day Sampson County?
