I have reasions to believe thay my GG Grandmothers maiden name was Whitfield Agness "Agnus" Whitfield? Born 1784 in north Carolina. Married a unknown Taylor. They left N C in abt 1828 for Tennessee, Mr Taylor must have died before 1840. Agnus Taylor is found in the 1840 census of Weakley Co Tn, Her being the head of house with two young males. It would be great if anyone can shed some light on this family. Regards Hershel Taylor
