I am looking for any information on my great grandparents William Jullius West born July 10, 1849 and Nancy Ellen (Salmon) West. They are buried in the Baptist Church cemetary in Turkey, NC, Sampson County. I think that Nancy's parents were Kelby Salmon and Annie Jane Fussell. As a little girl I was told that they ran the general store in Turkey and lived in a house across the railroad from the store. I would love to know if anyone out there can tell me if the william is the same William listed in the 1850 Census with George R. West? If not does anyone know the father of William Jullius West? I am also interested in further information on The Salmon family and the Fussell Family. I have just begun to research my family history and would appreciate it if anyone could point me in the right direction.
