Also looking for any Wills of these Butler slave owner's with names of family and also any slaves names. They would have been in this county , or in Clinton, NC or abouts, or somewhere around or close to it. I have these names ; This Slave owner probably by name of Butler had 2 slaves who escaped by name of maybe Rachael and Thomas. . I also have a oldest name of Jonas Butler Unk. any more on him.and son name of Hubbard Butler, I found Hubbard on SSDI b 15 Aug 1881 who died Oct 1971 in Clinton, N C. with SS issued before 1951. Then is a son of Hubbard, Samuel Butler b abt 19__ in Clinton, N C mar abt 19___ . to now deseaced, Bertha Olivia Blue b 1919 Faison, N C d 27 feb 2001 in Clinton NC other family members still living in NC.
