    3. Gary, I can't remember right off what if any Coopers are on the Duplin site, we have 774 transcribed cemeteries on there so you will have to do a site search to see if any turn up. It will be a few weeks before I can make it back to Sampson so keep checking the site to see if they turn up. I've heard or read that Fleet Cooper, Sr's & Jr's graves were 'lost' in a field somewhere near the original home site, and that is why the family erected the granite marker to their memory that is located across from Fleet Cooper Road on the Salemburg and Roseboro Highway outside of Clinton. When I was near there on business in 2003, I had an opportunity to visit the site, and the Rowan (formerly Cohaire) Baptist Church, where the Coopers were active as far back as the late 1700s. 3. Jeane, Cemetery hunting is one of my favorite pastimes. I can get away form the house and enjoy the peacefulness of the cemeteries as I photograph them. I guess you can say it relaxes me to walk the cemeteries taking the photos and hoping I will be able to find someone's long lost ancestor. : ) Diane MoGenWeb Special Projects NCGenWeb CC NCGenWeb Special Projects -------Original Message------- From: Jeane M. 3. I guess I was wrong. If you go to the below website it lists Stoney Run as being in Harnett County. Look under the Pentecostal Churches. http://www.harnettonline.com/church.cfm -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Monday, April 20, 2009 11:10 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [SAMPSON] Stoney Run Church Cem. Donna You take highway 55 east I think, you will be going opposite of Erwin (at the exit off of 95) out of Dunn, it is about 5 miles from there, believe this is called Elevation Township. Lets say you are leaving Dunn going to the 95 exit, go under underpass to the stop light take a left and go I believe about 5 miles it will be on your left. My brother in law is buried there.
