Hello Everyone, I just wanted to let everyone know that has been in contact with me on the Raynor, Hill, Strickland, Thornton, Hudson, Lee, Blackman, just to name a few. It will take me some time to get my computer set up again, I am with CompuServe and they update their site Monday and by doing this they deleted my all my e-mails, my favorites which I had a lot of downloads still there which I had not copied, all my address of everyone that I had been in contact. So please if anyone that has been in touch with me on any of these families, please just send me a note so I can get your address again. I've tried everyway that I know to get my address and downloads back but I guess they are gone. Has anyone else had this problem before and if so were you able to get anything back. Thanks, Donna in Smithfield
Does anyone on the list have access to the 1900 US Census in Sampson County. I am looking for an Abner J. (or T.) COOPER. He would have been about 46 years of age. He died in 1903 and is buried in the Salemburg Baptist Church Cemetery, Salemburg, NC. Any help would be greatly appreciated. H. Ben Cooper Bella Vista, Arkansas bcooper@mc2k.com
Does anyone have info on Green Flowers and his dau. Martha Elizabeth Lewis? They lived in Sampson Co. and Mill Creek. He was a charter member of Mill Creek Church. Martha aunt had a dau. name Mary Green who was Martha's cousin. This Mary Green Cole married Sam Raynor in 1843, does anyone have info on them. This I believe would be the son of David and Amy Raynor of Newton Grove in Sampson Co. Can anyone help me more on these lines. Thanks, Donna

Does anyone know if this book was ever reprinted? If someone was willing to do lookups in this book, would the Sampson County Historical Society give permission for lookups? Denise CC Sampson County
There was an addition to the Sampson County archives as well as several others as you can see!! If you want to see all the archives for Sampson County, just go to: http://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/nc/sampson/ and you can drill down into the separate folders. I recently discovered what I am fairly certain is more of my Williams line. My line is Cora Belle Williams Dover>John Dewitt Williams> Earnest Evander Williams>Reddin Williams> William Williams. I also documented the following cemetery several years ago. I am posting this in hopes there are others who connect to this family on the list. I have discovered Reddin had a sister who was dead by 1818 when his father's will was probated and three brothers. They were Nathan b. 1789-1790, William b. ca. 1805, and Arthur b. ca. 1782-1787. This is all either from the will, or census records I have been able to find. Until just recently I had no idea who the father of Reddin was. His mother is also dead by the time of the will. His sister is named as Mary Byrd, with benefits going to her children, who are not named. I would love to find others who connect to this line. It looks as though Arthur never married from what I have been able to find on him but be did build up quite an estate. C.A.
