    3. 1942-OBITUARIES NOTICES Spindale, Dec.21-Funeral services for MRS. F.E. WILSON MOONEY, 68, widow of PINCKNEY MONROE MOONEY who died Sunday, were held this afternoon at the Spindale First Bapt. church. Interment was in Montford Cove cemetery. She is survived by two daughters, MISS HATTIE MOONEY of Black Mtn., and MRS. W.C. CARSWELL of Forest City; two sons, GEORGE MOONEY of Charlotte and CLAUD MOONEY of Spindale; two brothers, WM. WILSON, Drayton and JAMES WILSON of Chimney Rock and two sisters, MRS. CORRIE DALTON, Chimney Rock and MRS. VINNIE LICERET of Hickory. --- Shelby, Nov. 8- S.R. McMURRY, 82, farmer of Lawndale, died at his home this morning an illness from paralysis for the past two years. Surviving are his wife, MRS. SARAH RACKARD McMURRY; 5 daughters, MRS. CECIL WOOD, MRS. R.L. PRICE, and MRS. E.C. PRICE of Lawndale, MRS. W.L. WALKER of Caesar and MRS. JUNE BOWEN, Grover; 4 sons, GRADY McMURRY, SIDNEY and LEONARD of Lawndale and D. L. McMURRY of Shelby; 34 grandchildren and 8 g- grandchildren. --- Spindale, Nov.7- Final rites for the REV. H.C. CULBRETH, 51 year old Baptist minister for the past 26 years, who died Friday while fishing in Lake Lure will be held Sunday at Spencer Bapt. church with Rev. JOE PARSONS officiating. Survived by his wife, MRS. BERTHA ROBERSON CULBRETH; 2 daughters, MISS CECILE CULBRETH and MRS. ERNEST BAILEY; one son, J.Y. CULBRETH; four brothers, CHARLES, WILLIAM, BARNEY and PERCY CULBRETH of this county; four sisters, MRS. B.M SINCLAIR, MRS. NALTES OWENS, MRS. ALDA SCOGGINS, all of Spindale and MRS.
