RUTHERFORD SHERIFF HEADS LAW GROUP Forest City, May 6.- Sheriff VANCE R. WILKINS has been elected president of the Rutherford County Law Enforcement Officers Assoc. The formation of the organization followed a 2 week Federal Bureau of Investigation School conducted in Forest City. Chief of police YATES DUNCAN of Spindale was elected vice-president; Chief of police BURNEY SNYDER of Rutherfordton, secretary; and Chief of police PAUL KENNEDY of Forest City, treasurer. LORENA ELIZABETH EDWARDS died at her home here. She was a member of the Gilboa Meth. church. Surviving are, 7 daughters, 5 sons, 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Funeral services will be held at Keeters Mortuary, burial in Mt. Vernon Church cemetery. Surviving are his wife, 4 sons and 3 daughters. He was a member of the church and a Mason.
