AREA OBITUARIES Cliffside, June 4.-ROY RUCKER SCRUGGS, 68, died at the Rutherford Hospital after an illness of four weeks. A native of Rutherford County, he was a s/o the late MOSES VANCE and MARY ELIZABETH HAMRICK SCRUGGS. He was a widower of MRS. INA MAE DANIELS SCRUGGS and was a member of the Cliffside Baptist church. Surviving are; four sons, DAN and BILL SCRUGGS, Cliffside, JAMES of Grover and RUCKER----[ sorry, line thru the sentence]-daughters, MRS. JOE JONES, Forest City, MRS. J.T. MOORE, Henrietta, and MRS. BEAM was a s/o the late CHARLIE and CHARLOTTE GREENE BEAM. He was a retired farmer and was of the Bapist faith. Surviving are ; his wife, MRS. CEDIE BEAM; one son, JESSE LEE BEAM of Weamsee, S.C. ---line thru sentence----FAY of Forest City and A.M. BEAM of Ellenboro; one sister, MRS. FARRY BLAND of Caroleen; 6 stepchildren; 6 grandchildren. November 08, 1957 was Charlotte Naomi Green the daughter of Sanders Donahue and Narcissa Ellis Blanton Green. Sanders was the child of Abner and Marian Matilda Christmus Green. Abner was the son of Major William Green. Charlotte had a brother by the name of Charles Abner Green who is my wife's Grandfather. Children of Charlie F.
