Rutherford County was created in 1779 from Tryon, and Tryon in 1767 from Old Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. Since the early Cabarrus County ancestors have Mecklenburg County connections then you are eligibile to submit article(s) on them to this upcoming book for "free". The guidelines are given in a brochure that has just come out.
