Obituaries Spindale, Jan. 15- The funeral services for JAMES WILLIAM CRAWFORD, 59, who died of a heart attack at his home here, will be conducted at the Spencer Bapt. church. He had been in declining health two years. Survivors include his wife, MRS. DELLA HUDGINS CRAWFORD; 3 sons, L.R. and WALKER CRAWFORD, Spindale and the Rev. R.L. CRAWFORD, Rutherfordton; 5 daughters, MRS. EARL QUEEN, Spencer, MRS. W.I. PARNELL, Jr, Greenville, S.C. and MRS. C.W. LAVENDER, Rutherfordton and MISSES ZONNIE and ZONA CRAWFORD of Spindale; 3 brothers, B.H. CRAWFORD, S.H. and D.L. CRAWFORD. Rev. J.A. BROCK will officiate , with burial in Spindale cemetery. ----- Rutherfordton, Jan. 15.- Last rites for MRS. GORDON REID of Union Mills, who died at a local hospital yesterday were conducted at the Brittain Presbyterian church. Surviving are her husband, Gordon Reid; a daughter, MISS GRACE REID; one son, MILLARD REID of Asheville; two brothers, DR. HORACE FLACK of Baltimore, Md. and VERNON REID of Gilkey' 3 sisters, MRS. J.P. FLETCHER and MRS. CRATON HUGHES of Hendersonville and MRS. CHARLES JUSTICE of Gilkey. MRS. REID had been in charge of NYA work in Rutherford County a number of years. ----- Caroleen, Jan 2- Funeral services for MRS. ROSE McDANIEL, 85, who died were to be conducted at the Providence Meth. church near here, interment in ch.cemetery. Survivors include 3 sons, W.N. ROBERSON, A.B. ROBERSON and J.C. ROBERSON, all of Caroleen; 5 daughters, MRS. H.L. McDANIEL, MRS. J.L. MORROW, MRS. J.D. LAWS, MRS. ANN BUFF and MRS. MATTIE ROBERSON, all of Caroleen; one sister, MRS.
