As many of you already know I have digital photos of about 8000 Rutherford Co., NC marriage licenses that I can E-mail to the ones that need them. These can be accessed at my website located at http://www.rfci.net/wdfloyd What I am trying to explain to everyone is it is impossible for me to except lists of file numbers to send the photos. I use the internet very little other than the webpage and E-mail and therefore I can't warrant the cost of high speed internet for all my free stuff. I understand how impatient one can get when they find a source of information that helps their research. They want it all right now. I am that way also. By using a phone modem for the internet connection it takes as long for a half meg photo to leave my PC as it does for you to receive it with a modem. If I was to try to fill several lists of photo file numbers I could put hours at the PC. What seems to work very well for me and some of the folks using the photos is to send for ONE and when ! they receive it to send for another. This kind of spreads it out over time. I check the mail quite often but I just have to have a little time for other things and this causes the requests to kind of bunch up. I receive quite a bit of E-mail and I just can't keep all the mail with lists of requests and then send at my convenience so I will send one request and then you will have to re-submit the next request. Keep one thing in mind, This Is All Free Of Charge and I intend to keep it that way. I am not trying to offend or accuse anyone. I am just trying to make it work for us all.
