I noticed in another posting you have a Mariah McEntire Wesson. Which line of McEntire's did she come from? My 3xgreatgrandparents were Jacob Wolf(E) and Nancey McEntire Thompson. She was daughgter of Andrew Aaron McEntire and Ellender ? Wallis. Never have found who the unk Thompson was. They were orginally buried at Old Hopewell Cemetery in Rutherford County but moved to Beulah Methodist Cemetery by Forest Wolfe around 1985 or so. So many families of this area intermarried a lot, so we all must be related somehow! My grand and greatgrandparents are buried at Rehobeth United Methodist Church. Doc Franklin Grigg and Nancy Ellen Wolfe, greatgrandparents ( he helped build this Church) Raleigh Washington Fortune and Minnie Ethel Grigg, grandparents If anyone has any info on Nancey Ellen McEntireThompson Wolfe (b approx 1798) who married Jacob Wolfe Wolf, on the marriage bond she is just listed as Nancey Thompson I would love to find more info on the unk Thompson Thanks so much for any help, Melanie Oates Malone. PS Am looking for info also on who the Oates was that my 2xgreatgrandfather William Cathey Wolfe and wife bought part of the "Oates" land in 1874 and moved his family into the Old Oates House on Muddy Fork Creek, a branch of Buffalo Creek. He ( Forest Wolfe) believed there to be about 700 acres in that tract. I have a pic of Cathey Wolfe and his wife Phoebe Lee and daughter Asena Era Wolfe taken in front of what I believe to be that house. This info came from the late Forest Wolfe of Cleveland Cty.
