The 1870 Census records for Prentiss Co., MS, show Abraham, age 65; Margaret, age 60; Daniel H., age 34; John L., age 24; Franklin P., age 19; and Louisa, age 22. The family records of a descendant, Anne L. Haneghan (315 Mary Ann Drive, Memphis TN, 38117), show that Abraham was born 5/1/1805 and died 3/7/1890. His wife, Margaret Larnse, was born 6/21/1807. Their daughter, Elizabeth Ann, was born 6/1829. North Carolina State Archives Marriage Record 01 074, Bond 000073819. A. Kistler - book 1 - page 93, Prentiss County, Mississippi wills book. I, Abraham Kistler of Prentiss County Mississippi, do hereby make and publish this my last will and testament intending thereby to dispose of all my worldly estate of which I may be possessed at the time of my decease. I give, devise, and bequeath unto my beloved wife Margaret Kistler all my remaining estate (after paying all my just debts) both real and personal in whatever it may consist or wherever situated at the time of my decease, to have and use during her life, precisely as I myself might do were I living. And giving my said wife full power to sell, exchange, invest, and reinvest any of the personal property herein given, devised, and bequeathed in the same manner as I might do if living. At the death of my said wife, I will that all the property herein before given, both real and personal, shall descend to my children according to the laws of descents and distributions of the state of Mississippi.
