Hi, I have new information and have reason to believe that my ggg aunt, Isabella Eakins (d/o Joseph Eakins and Isabella Walcup Eakins), married a Lewis Wilkinson and later they moved to Lincoln Co and Giles Co., TN. They are on the 1850 and 1860 census of TN. Joseph and Isabella died in Rutherford Co, he in 1824 and she about 10 yrs later. They had 6 known children-- Sarah Eakins (md Samuel Biggerstaff), Isabella (md a Wilkinson), John, George (md Sarah "Sally" Melton), Samuel, and Thomas. The boys left NC during the early 1800's and Geo, John, and probably Thomas came to Henderderson Co., KY, about 1811. Samuel may have come to KY, but he possibly went to MO or AR or both. Can anyone help me with this Isabella? Thanks so much.
