We the History Committee at Landrum First Baptist Church is in the proof reading stage of our 200 year history book; First, as Wolfe Creek Baptist Church in 1803, to Landrum First Baptist Church in 1926. This book will be in a limited addition, around 500 pages, hardback with index. We have abbreviated all the church minutes telling what people did in our church. We are missing some minutes all before 1836 and some in the 1930s-1940's. We also put all church members that we could find from 1850's - 1920's, and some other random memberships. We have written a little about each pastor and some of the members, past and present. We hope that all will enjoy. If you have family from upper Spartanburg County, SC and Polk County, North Carolina which used to be part of Henderson and Rutherford County and some from Greenville County, SC could be mentioned in our book. We are charging $20 for the book and $5 for shipping. The form can be found on my website right now and the churches web site within the next few weeks.
