The information that I was given on Louis Jones was the following. Louis Jones was one of the first Settlers in this part of the country, his old home is still standing on Broad River in Southwestern North Carolina, It is known as the Louis Jones Old Place, It used to be well known. As people went to that place to cross the river in a ferry boat. Louis Jones was probably of Welsh Descent, he married Molly Bridges. Children of Louis and Molly Bridges 1. Fanny Jones, married william Harris, their children were; Louis, Marianne Ranny, Misseniare, Patsy, Louisa, Sylvia, Lucinda, Thomas, William, Natin (?). 2. Drury Jones, married Elizabeth Betsy Scruggs, their children were Louisa, Catherine, Julia, Emmy, Tiny, Rebecca, Lanie, Sarah, Robert, Alive, Columbus, John. 3. Artelissa Jones, married David Humphries, their children were; Louis, William, Asbury, Marianne, Susan, Lucinda. 4. Susan (Sookie) Jones, married James McGinnis, their children were ; Media, Sarah Ann, Smith, Tiny. 5. Rebecca Jones, 6. Eliza Jones 7. Elizabeth Jones, married John Green, their children were; Drury, Madison, Lucretia, Patsy, Susan, Rebecca, Terissa, Fanny, Mary Elizabeth. 8. Patsy Jones 9. Sally Jones 10. John Jones, married Rebeccca Harris, their children were Jemima, Annie, John, Martin, Lewis. I have some on each of these childrens family also.
