    1. [NCRUTHER-L] Amos Wall's mill...

    3. James Stevens of the Speculation Land Company made a note in his memorandom book which is on file at the Wilson Library, UNC-Chapel Hill, NC, in the Southern Historical Collection. He was in the area by 1827 and the notation reads: "The widow Parker lives on the piece that Socket sold to Patrick Eves about South from Amos Walls mill 1/2 her son William has Enetered this place and will get a Grant - turn at Wall's mill" Can anyone tell me where this place would be today? I'm assuming it's somewhere near Wall's Baptist Church near the current day Cleveland County line. Enjoy the trek, Judy
