The first John Jones I referred to was John Judson Jones. He was (according to this gedcom file) the son of Edmund and Susannah McKinney Jones. Edmund was the son of John and Elizabeth Pool Jones. John was the son of Benjamin and Amy Parish Jones. And I just checked, and you are correct... I made a mistake in looking at the relationships on the screen. I was looking at a descendancy chart for Benjamin Jones, and didn't follow the lines correctly. The Edmund I referred to IS listed as the SON of John and Elizabeth, NOT THE BROTHER. My apologies.
