    3. Hi Bill, I think that is an excellent idea. Your work is extremely important to anyone researching in NC and SC. The point of only having it in a ms works format is certainly valid. There are other formats out there but you shouldn't have to buy any more programs to do it. Have you considered using a .txt format like the one found in notepad? Someone more knowledgeable than me jump in here and tell us if mac users can open notepad .txt files. The rootsweb project stores the archives files in this format so I'm thinking it must be more universally available. As to cost....Sixty dollars is cheap to have available all the research you have done. Your time, gas costs, and of course, the wear on your feet <g> is never going to be reimbursed. Another idea.....Print it in a book form, like "Bridges to the Past" and sell it. I would love to have a printed version with all your research. Perhaps this would/could be an option also. Thanks for all you have done. I am certain that your work will be lauded as one of the major genealogy works far into the future.
