My Rutherford Co. ancestor was Drury Byars (c 1808-1845) who may have been son of Nathan Byars. He was in Rutherford Co. in the 1830 census living near Abraham Byars, but he later moved to Union Co. SC and died there in 1845. I think that Drury's wife Matilda and two of her children were listed in the household of Abraham Byars in the 1850 census. I would love to know the relationship between Drury and Abraham Byars. Were they just cousins or could they have been brothers? Susan -- --- Susan C.
