I am looking for information on my ggggrandfather, David Gregory, who, according to his military records from the civil war, was born in Rutherford Co, NC in 1810. His name was David Richard Gregory (or Richard David Gregory). From census information, it appears that his father was born in Pennsylvania but I have no information on him. Would appreciate hearing from any Gregory researchers who might have information on this line. There is a George? Gregory, Rev. Vet born PA who had a son David born in 1810 but I was told he was not my David - that perhaps George had a brother with a son David. Any help appreciated Linda
