Researching the family of Jesse WARD and Elizabeth ?. Their children were: Tempy Sarah Ann, Melger M., John A., Britton Govan, Samuel C., Isaac Foggerson, Orilla, Nancy Elizabeth, Mary, and Sarah. The children were born between 1825 - 1846. The family moved to Wayne Co., Missouri after living in Tennessee. Also the family of James WARD and Martha ?ELMES?. Hezekiah Hargrave m. Susannah "Ann" McMurtry/McMurtrie (of Bedford Co VA) in December of 1785 in Rutherford Co. She was the sister of Samuel McMurtry. Hezekiah served in the NC Line in Brevard's Co in a group of men from Burke Co. His brothers, John Robert and Willis were also in the area but all of them moved west to Logan Co KY by 1800.
