Hi Everyone: As all of you know, Neal was killed in an accident a few weeks ago, and left behing a young daughter. I myself would like to help, and contacted his wife, and today I received the following message regarding a SCHOLRSHIP FUND for her. Anyone wishing to donate no matter what amount would be greatly appreciated. It is terribly hard on this child without her father. We all experienced such wonderful help from Neal, and it is a terrible loss to all of us. Betty, I'm sorry I have been so long getting back to you but I had computer problems on top of everything else. I now have the info. Any donations can be sent to the CASKEY SCHOLARSHIP FUND, Branch Banking & Trust Co., P. O. Box 69, Fallston, NC 28042 Checks or money orders should be made to Caskey Scholarship Fund. If there are any questions as to the validity they may call Norma Clay at BB&T at 704-538-5574. Thanks for your willingness to help. Willene Caskey (Mrs. Neal Caskey) Thanks again for any help you might wish send. Betty Heryford Bdhery@aol.com
Hi Betty, I had not heard the news either. I too would like to extend my deepest sympathy to his wife and daughter. Neal was well known also on the Lincoln and Gaston mail lists. I tried to find a copy of his obituary at the newspaper sites, but wasn't successful. If you have one, could you please post a copy of his obituary to the lists.
