    1. [NCRUTHER-L] Deeds
    2. Hello, I have been finding my Wilkinson's deeds in Rutherford County these last few months. I am have a question which I hope someone on this list may have an answer or solution to. In the deeds below Thomas Wilkinson bought land three times and sold land twice. These are the only deeds that I can find in the county. The problem is, the land descriptions don't match. He bough land on Varen's/Bowen's Creek, Harris Creek, and Hanson's Creek, but the selling of land doesn't match what he bought (sold on Varen's and Jumping Branch). Has anyone else ran across this type of thing? Did Thomas sell of all his land? I am confused by this information. Also, I am looking for where Thomas moved to (probably in TN) about 1824. I would appreciate anyone sharing where their families may have moved to around that time. Thanks, Melody 1.
