    3. DEATHS Blacksburg, Feb. 17.- Funeral services for MRS. EMMA REBECCA MOSS at Canaan Meth .Ch. Interment was in the ch. cem. MRS. MOSS, who was 81, died at her home on route 1, Smyrna, Wed. She was the widow of the late R.J.W. MOSS. Native of Gaston Co, N.C. but had lived at the Hopewell community for about 60 years. Surviving are 3 daughters, MRS. ESSIE MOSS MILLER, and MRS. PEARL MOSS GOFORTH, Charlotte, and MRS.REOLA CHAPMAN, Fort Mill; 4 sons, LEWIS L., FOREST, BROOKS, and Harvey H. MOSS. 21 grandchildren and 6 g-grand children also survive. Pallbears; KENNETH MOSS, CAROL MOSS, BOBBY MOSS, GLENN MOSS, LEWIS MOSS and JIMMY CHAPMAN. MARRIAGES; Feb.16 ELFORD GREENBURY HOWARD of Mocksville, N.C. and EUNICE HELEN HORNE. DANIEL MARION PEELER of Grover, N.C. and JUNITA WORTHY of Gaffney. L.E. WOOD and MELLE PHILLIPS of Gaffney. DEATH TAKES CHAS. RAMSEY CHARLES E. RAMSEY, 56 year old sign and general painter, died at his home following a stroke. He was a native of Shelby, N.C. s/o the late M.P. and SUSAN PADGETT RAMSEY. He was a member of the Cherokee Ave. Bapt. ch. Interment was in the Oakland Cem. MR. RAMSEY is survived by his wife, MRS. MARIE PATRICK RAMSEY; 2 daughters, MRS. LLOYD WYLIE of Union and MRS. SARA PARKER of Gaffney; a son, Pvt. GENE RAMSEY, two sisters, MRS. D.M. GAINES of Washington and MRS. KATIE MANESS of Gaffney; a brother E.C. RAMSEY of Easley and 5 grandchildren. free post- nancie
