Hi, I am new to all of this, so I may sound a bit raw. Please excuse me. I am originally from St. Louis, Mo. My name is Dave Francis. I am living in Russia right now, where I teach English at the University here. I have begun to trace my family tree, and have found out that we were in North Carolina at one time. Apparently, in 1798 a Gideon Francis was born. His father was Edward Francis. That is about all the info I have right now. Gideon did have two brothers. They were John and Caleb. There may have been sisters, or even more brothers, but that is all I have so far. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
