Obituaries Forest City, Sept.10.-JOHN B. NEIL, 78, of Alexander, died Thursday in a Charlotte hospital after several months illness. Funeral services will be held at Alexander Baptist church with the Rev. M.D. BLANTON officiating, burial Cool Springs cem. Survived by 2 sisters, MRS. NAN GARDEN and MRS. J.M. BROWN of Glenwood; 2 daughters, MRS. KATE HAYWOOD, Powells Station and MRS. MARGARET BEAM of Charlotte; 3 sons, ROBERT B. NEIL and JOHN G. NEIL of Forest City and JOE W. NEIL of Cornelius, Ga. ----- Spindale, Sept. 27.- Funeral services will be held at the home of MR. and MRS. ROY HENDERSON, Harmon street, Forest City, for MRS. W.E. COOPER, 65, who died at the home of her daughter. Burial will be in the Spindale Cemetery.Rev. M.H. INGLE will officiate. She was daughter of the late I.W. and MARY CHANDLER WALKER of Rutherford County and member of the Bapist church. Surviving are her husband, EDGAR COOPER; a son, BURGIN COOPER of Spindale; 2 daughters, MRS. GRADY WRIGHT and MRS. ROY HENDERSON; 4 brothers, ROY, J.B., MARION and TROY WALKER of Spindale and 6 grandchildren. ----- Shelby, Oct. 18.- RANDOLPH RAY NIX, 57, died at his home here Monday after a 3 weeks illness. Funeral services will be held at Missionary Methodist church. The Revs. T.W. LOVELESS, W.T. FURR and ELISHA PAGE will officiate. Burial will be at Sunset cemetery. Surviving are his wife, MRS.ELLA BARNETT NIX; 2 sons, LEROY and ARTHUR of Shelby; 3 daughters, MRS. J.S. COOK ,Shelby, and MRS. HERMAN JONES and MRS. GARLAND PRUETTE, of York; 2 step-daughters,MRS.
