I wish I knew? My Grandmother was in the 1880 census with her parent James & Louisa Gibbs in Campobello - Spartanburg, SC. Next door was Louisa's parents John & Bettie Childers with children Logan & Lizzie. James Gibbs died in 1884 from drowning. Louisa disappeared and haven't found any trace of her or her parents. I was told that my Grandmother was raised by her Uncle Logan Childers. That's about all I know. Barbara Channell
