I'm writing some memories from my childhood. One of the events of my life was attending a Rural Electric function of some sort. I think it was at one of the schools in Rutherford County. We lived in Polk but our electricity was furnished by REA. This might have been a stock holders meeting, but I don't remember the business. There was lots of entertainment. This would have been between 1946 and 1951, probably in the summer. Does any one have any information about either REA or this function? Thanks. Virginia
