Obituaries - January 23. Shelby- Funeral services for ENOCH ERWIN HUSKEY, 32, were held this afternoon at the Camp Creek Baptist church and burial was in the church cemetery. MR. HUSKEY was a farmer of the No.1 township community where he was born and reared. He died unexpectedly at his home of a heart attack. Surviving are his wife; 3 children, MAYNARD, HELEN, and DEAN HUSKEY, at home; his parents, MR. and MRS. CRELL HUSKEY, Mooresboro; 4 brothers, J.V., BURIAN, NEILL and DUDLEY HUSKEY, Mooresboro; 3 sisters, MISSES RUBY and LUCILE HUSKEY, and MRS. BLANCHE McCRAW, Mooresville. ----- Shelby - Funeral services for MRS. NETTIE JANE MATHIS, 54, were held this morning at the Flint Hill Baptist church. MRS. MATHIS died at her home near Lattimore following a stroke of paralysis a week ago. She was a native of Georgia and came to Cleveland Co. 17 years ago. Surviving are her husband, WILL MATHIS; 5 sons, OSCAR , Kings Mt., FLOYD, ARTHUR, HOYT and ROY MATHIS of Lattimore; 2 daughters, MRS. FESTUS McSWAIN, Shelby and MRS. WILBERT WEATHERFORD, Lattimore; one brother, WILL MYERS of Georgia and 7 grandchildren. ----- Shelby- Final Rites for MRS. BARBARA STEVENSON MARTIN, 82, were conducted at the ,Mountain View Baptist church. Burial was in the church cemetery, near Kings Mountain. MRS. MARTIN who was a native of Gaston Co., suffered a broken hip as the results of a fall eight weeks ago at her home in Gastonia. She died at the home of a daughter, MRS. R.P. PRUITT of Shelby. Other survivors include another daughter, MRS. ERNEST LAUGHRIDGE of Kings Mountain; 5 sons, JOE F.MARTIN, Stecoah, PLATO MARTIN,Fla., JOHN MARTIN, Gastonia, O.D. MARTIN, KingsMountain and BAXTER MARTIN, Radford, Va.; one half-brother, CALVIN HOOD, Granite Falls; a half-sister, MRS.
