A very Merry Christmas to all and hope you have a wonderful 2005. I'm looking for volunteers to participate in the Crawford DNA group testing. My Crawford cousin has mailed off his test. We are descendants of George Washington and Mary (Polly) Crawford, who married in Rutherford Co., NC, and after a few moves arrived in Fannin Co., GA. Our ancestor was Levi. Levi took his family to Winston Co., Al, then to Polk Co., TN and finally to Rhea Co., TN where Levi died. It is thought that this George Washington who married Polly Hunter, dtr of Samuel Hunter, was the son of John Crawford and maybe Susanna.
