    3. 1929 Forest City, May 25 A wedding of interest to their many friends was that of Miss RUTH HARRILL to MR. ROBERT EDNEY which was solemnized at the court house at Rutherfordton. Mrs. EDNEY is the attractive daughter of MR. and MRS. A.L. HARRILL of Cliffside. MR. EDNEY is the son of MR. and MRS. MILLS EDNEY of Hendersonville. MR. and MRS. EDNEY will make their home at Cliffside. - Mesdames R.C. ALEXANDER and W.P. HALL JR., were joint hostesses at a bridge luncheon at the home of MRS. W.P. HALL, in honor of MISS MARGARET BOSTIC, popular bride-elect and MISS ROSALIE CUMMINGS of Asheville, house guest of Mrs. Alexander. Receiving with Mesdames Hall and Alexander were Miss Margaret Bostic, Miss Rosalie Cummings and MRS. W.C. BOSTIC, SR. The punch bowl was presided over by MISS LILA PADGETT. Nine tables were arranged throughout the house, which were thrown ensuite. The tally cards were miniature brides and each guests plate a suit case and hat box filled with salted almonds were used as favors. MISS SARA BAILEY made high score. MISS MARGARET BOSTIC was presented with a lovely picture. After the games were played the guest were then invited to the home of MRS. R.C. ALEXANDER where an elegant buffet luncheon was served. Assisting in serving were Mesdames J.S. RUDISILL, E.O. THOMAS and J.H. THOMAS. --- 1935 Earl, Nov. 12- Funeral services were held Sunday morning for PICKNEY ROLLINS CAMP, at New Hope church in the presence of a host of sorrowing relatives and friends. He was in the yard at his home dressing fish for lunch Saturday and died suddenly. His death was a shock to the entire community. MR. CAMP was 69 years old. He joined Pleasant Hill Baptist church in early manhood and later moved his membership to New Hope, where he had been a member for 38 years. MR. CAMP was married to MISS GEORGIA WHITE, Oct. 16, 1890 at Grover, N.C. Surviving are his widow and six children; MARION, Shelby, MRS. SID HELMS, Gastonia, PAUL and HERBERT CAMP, Charlotte, M.H. CAMP, Grover, VERNON CAMP, Taylors, S.C. There are 15 grandchildren and one great grandchild, also 2 brothers, M.G. CAMP, Hickory and EDNEY CAMP, Patterson Springs, N.C. and one half sister, MRS.
