I need information on a Reuben BROWN. On the 1850 census for Cherokee County NC he is age 20 and living in the household of Thomas and Margaret BROWN. He could not have been the son of Margaret because she was born 1823. However we have always thought Thomas had a family before he married Margaret. I totally lose Reuben after that single census. He may also have had a sister named Louisa as there is a Louisa BROWN listed first on the birth pages of the family Bible. She also was much too old to have been a child of Margaret. She was older than Reuben and quite possibly married by the 1850 census. I am hoping that find Reuben and or Louisa might help me find information about the parents and history of Thomas. I do know that Thomas was born in Rutherford County nc and he married Margaret in Burke County nc Be careful who you choose to hate, it may be someone you love
