    3. MRS. SARA F. PINSON Shelby, April 5.- Funeral services for MRS. SARAH F. PINSON, age 99, Cleveland Co.'s oldest resident who died yesterday morning following an illness of three weeks at the home of a grandaughter, MRS. N.B. McSWAIN were conducted at the Beaver Dam Bapt. ch. with REV. J.W. SUTTLE in charge. Burial in church yard. She was a native of Blacksburg and her entire life was spent within a radius of 25 miles of Shelby. MRS. PINSON was a young woman at the time of the civil war. Although blind she kept up with the present war events. Surviving are a daughter-in-law, two grandchildren , two great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. WILLIAM B. DALTON Spindale, April 5.- Funeral services for Wm. B. DALTON, 42, of Henrietta who was killed instantly on Sunday in a motorcycle automobile accident were to be held at Pleasant Grove Methodist church near Forest City with REV. J.L. McCLUNY , of the First Bapt. ch officiating. MR. DALTON is survived by his mother, MRS. LAURA DALTON of Green Hill, his wife, MRS. MINNIE DALTON ; one daughter, MRS. LUTHER FRADEY,of Sure, N.C.; three sons, DETROY in Army, W.B., Jr. and ALBERT; two brothers, J.A. DALTON of Gaffney, and FRED L. DALTON of Greenhill; two sisters, MRS. ULA CONNOR and MISS NELLIE DALTON. REV. A.J. TATE Chesnee, March 31.- The REV. R.J. TATE, 84, widely known Baptist minister of the Sandy Springs section of Polk Co. N.C. and affectionally known to his friends as ' Uncle Jack Tate' , died this morning at the home of his son, VICTOR TATE, after a lingering illness. Surviving are four sons, VICTOR of Chesnee, CLAUDE TATE of Bessermer City, ARTHUR TATE of Mill Springs, N.C. and WILBUR tate of Chesnee, two daughters, MRS. O.C. SMITH of Spindale and MRS. G.W. SCOGGINS of Spartanburg. Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Blackwell funeral home of Chesnee. Free post- nancie
