I have been searching for some years for information on the family of J.B. Carpenter who I believe was a Minister... Probably Methodist. Thanks to Mr. Floyd I think I have found him but my problem is his daughter, Della Carpenter, who married Richard Lewis Doggett. Does anyone out there know whether Della was Carpenter's real child or was she adopted? Della was born about 1778 to 1880... There are so many Carpenters that I feel certain someone has researched them. I would be grateful for any information. Anne Doggett
