Lynn, I'm from this area and pass by the Mary B. Mullen's school quiet often. This school is still there and they have done alot of work around the school in the last year. I was talking to my mother about the school and she said that she remembered the ladies of Bill's Creek Baptist Church talking about what a wonderful, kind, and helpful person she was. The area is now Lake Lure, NC in the Bill's Creek Community.
