SIDNEY SIMS, Piedmont Section, MRS. HOWARD COTHRAN, Valley Falls, S.C., MRS. L. HARDIN, Spindale, MRS. A. LYNCH, near Polk Co. line, and MRS. J.C. CALLAHAN, near Rutherford.; 8 brothers, ADAM, MARION, and ERASTUS GUFFEY, Spindale, BILL, JACK, CLYDE, DAVID and SOLOMON GUFFEY of Rutherfordton; mother, MRS. JOHN GUFFEY. Prior to her marriage she was MISS VERA GUFFEY. She was a member of the Eastside Bapt. church. --- Shelby, Dec.20- FLAY JONES, 38, former Mooresboro, was instantly killed this morning when a truck turned over about a half mile from highway 74 on New House Road. He was moving his family belongings to another residence, having recently sold his home in Mooresboro. Funeral services at the DREWERY DOBBINS Church, burial will be in church cemetery. Survived by his wife and 3 children, NEWELL, MAX, and HAROLD DEAN JONES at home; 6 brothers, W.S., C.F., R.L., D.A., A.P., and C.O. JONES of Mooresboro; 3 sisters, MRS. W.P. BIGGERSTAFF, Mooresboro, MRS. P.F. BRIDGES, Mt Sinai, and MRS.R.D. HAMRICK of Cliffside. --- Rutherford, Nov. 23- Funeral services for SHUFORD P. GUFFEY, 78, farmer who resided near here, will be held at Camp Creek Bapt. church near Union Mills. Survived by 4 sons; PLATO, Union Mills, CLATER, Rutherfordton, BEN Alexandria, Va. and HOMER GUFFEY, Spindale.; 4 daughters, MRS. CHARLES YELTON, Rutherfordton, MRS.
