Hello Everyone, I had some time to do some researching the last few days in the deed books. I wrote down some deeds in my notebooks and they are posted on my family website. I am only able to add a few a day so there will be more in the future. I also wonder if anyone has gone thru the index and deed books on microfilm in depth? As I have been looking I have noticed some mistakes in the indexing and even omissions of names. There are also some pages which were not filmed of the deed books. I noticed when I have been looking thru the court records the clerk noted someone who came in to prove a deed, but I do not find that particular deed indexed. Also a land dispute of my Thomas Wilkinson which deals with land not in the index. I have been thinking of going thru each book to see if I can write a list of all deeds and someday compare it with the index. That would take a lot of time I don't have right now, but maybe someday...
