    3. In my Haynes line I have a Celia Webb, my GGGrandmother, buried in Rutherford County, NC. b 10/2/1798 - d 3/18/1850. I have no idea her place of birth. She was married to my GGGrandfather, John Haynes, b 1/12/1799 - d 6/20/1844, buried with her in Rutherford County, NC. Celia's father was Darling Webb, mother Elizabeth Christopher. Have no birth or death dates for them. This is from family records, not census. Hope this helps. Because of the similarities in naming conventions, I can't help but beleive that he was somehow related to the Webbs that ended up in Georgia, maybe Tennessee. Possibly his name was James Pleasant Webb or ??? Pleasant Webb. Help? > ================================================================ > Pleasant (Plesent) WEBB was born about ca 1760-1765. His son, Elias, said that his father, Pleasant was born in Ireland (not substantiated). He died between 1830 and 1840 in Ohio, USA. Around 1800 Pleasant and family came in to the Ohio valley from Rutherford County, North Carolina. In 1803 (reported to be 45 years old) he was in Scioto County, Ohio and was said to be a notorious character. Supposedly, he tried to break up a fight between James Bradley and the wife and children of James Quire (Squires). He ended up shooting Mr. Quire (Squires). After this incident at the Licks, he was driven out of that area. He is also said to have been a Tory during the Revolutionary War. Pleasant was in GreenupCounty, Kentucky in 1820 and in Lawrence County, Ohio in 1830, he did not appear in the 1840 census, so it is believed he died between 1830-1840. Pleasant (Plesent) WEBB and Unknown had the following children: James WEBB (1786), Elias WEBB (1788), Thomas Hanley WEBB (1795), Aden W!
