    3. Jonnie, yes we have been in touch 2 or 3 years ago but didn't find any connection, as I recall. I think my cousin Jim Haynes in California also corresponded with you. All that I have is family records, not census or court house data. Both John Haynes and Celia Webb are buried in Providence Methodist Cemetery in Rutherford Co., NC with readable headstones. John's parents were Charles Haynes & Sallie (Sarah ?) Hodge, probably of the 1770's, but no information has been found as to places and no burial info has been found. I am connected to John Haynes and Celia Webb through a son Charles Hodge Haynes and Sara Walker, and a son of theirs Raleigh Rutherford Haynes and Amanda L. Carpenter - my grandparents. Hope this is helpful. I would love to connect John with Wilkerson Haynes as brothers or cousins, but have had no success.
