Obituary of my great grandmother, any help appreciated. She was the daughter of Greenberry Padgett 1819-1892 and Catherine Cooper. Who were the parents of Catherine Cooper ? Spartanburg Herald May12, 1922. DEATH OF AGED LADY; MRS. SARAH ANN O'SULLIVAN, aged 78, died at the home of her daughter, MRS. CHARLIE WALKER HAMMETT, on Cannon's Camp Ground , after a protracted sickness. Funeral services were held from the Methodist church of that section yesterday afternoon, conducted by Rev. J.M. Mason of Cowpens. Interment followed in the church yard. Five sons and two daughters survive her; J.D., T.J., M.G., J.I., and B.M. O'Sullivan and MRS. P.M. WHITMONT {?}of Greenville, and Mrs. C.W. Hammett of Cannons community. She is also survived by the following 5 brothers, WILL, PILGRIM and HOGART PADGETT, of Cannon's and GARNER PADGETT of Forest City and LUTHER PADGETT of Lattimore, N.C. Her husband Jerimiah { Jerry} O'Sullivan died in 1906.
