Please inform me if the book by Grifin covers the period prior and to about 1785. I am trying to find information about the Joel Vaughn/Vaughan family who lived there during that period. Info is quite illusive except for the Rev Pension file which details his service while in residence there and details one move within Rutherford Co itself.
