    3. Please consider the possibility that these places---Island Ford and Sulphur Springs---could be in current Cleveland Co. in the part that was Rutherford prior to 1841. When I search for these terms on the GNIS website, I find them both associated with cleveland Co. There is a Sulphur Springs church and cemetery that is shown on the map. This is near Patterson Springs, Stices Shoals, and the Broad River, near SC line. I will keep looking for more info and let you know if I find anything else. > > From: Greg Lovelace <gregl@starfishnet.com> > Date: 2004/06/28 Mon PM 02:24:49 EDT > To: NCRUTHER-L@rootsweb.com > Subject: [NCRUTHER-L] Island Ford PO > > Hi, all > > Thanks to everyone who has come back with possible locations for Island > Ford, the residence of Elizabeth Lovelace Braddy at the time of her pension > application for her husband's service in the Confederacy.
