Bill Floyd makes reference to it here: GOODE FAMILY CEMETERY: This cemetery is located in the Goodes Creek Church community, about 3 miles west of Cliffside and on a hilltop just west of Goode's Creek on the old Island Ford Road. This is the old homeplace of John Goode.
